Generally an observer, I find people's faces and gestures fascinating. For a long time now I’ve been taking my camera to the streets to find interesting subjects and capture their characters.

We live in uncertain times, where violence, abuse of power and economic inequalities can lead to terrible events. I have been documenting protests happening in NYC, that bring people together to fight for justice and peace.

Home to numerous cultures, New York hosts national festivals and celebrations at all times. As an immigrant myself, I find joy in exploring different traditions and photographing people uniting to honor their heritage.
